Why Introverts Dream Big
Think about this: the world of technology we see today was born from dreams. At one point, humans lived in caves in the mountains. It was then that they began dreaming of building a new society, a new world, outside those caves. This shows just how essential dreams are in our lives.
Consider companies like Google or Meta. The era of artificial intelligence we now live in came from dreams. Every discovery and innovation started with someone dreaming. Someone once had a beautiful dream to create Google or a search engine, and eventually, those dreams became reality. Why is it that introverts often tend to be dreamers? Let’s explore this further.
I am an introverted person. Since childhood, I have enjoyed deep thinking, dreaming big, and working towards those dreams. I still continue to do so. However, many people fear dreaming. From my personal experience, I can say that most introverted people are dreamers. Yes, I’m talking about you—you are a dreamer too.
I have seen interviews with many successful people on television. When asked if they were introverted or extroverted, they often replied that they were introverts. This demonstrates how successful an introvert can be. However, this doesn’t mean that extroverts aren’t dreamers or successful. There are many extroverts who have achieved great success.
Introverts are often quiet and reserved by nature. Society tends to isolate them, judging people by their external success. Even if an introvert has a successful career, society might still marginalize them simply because of their introversion.
Introverts are often emotional and sensitive. If someone insults them without reason, they may find it hard to accept. This can ignite a determination to succeed, a drive to change their lives. They dream of proving themselves to the world, showing that they have come to make a difference. This is how introverts become dreamers.
There are several reasons why introverts tend to dream more. Since they prefer spending time alone, they have plenty of time to reflect on themselves and explore creative ideas. In contrast, extroverts spend a lot of time socializing and might not get the same opportunity for introspection and dreaming.
Introverts are also highly creative. They enjoy working in quiet environments with minimal accountability, allowing them to express their creativity freely. As a result, they often come up with ideas for solving societal problems and begin dreaming about new inventions. Therefore, we can say that introverts are more likely to be dreamers compared to extroverts.
